Rang up pm was told what it would cost so no surprises, arranged visit for next day am, operative rang to tell me his arrival time. He arrived on time did a quick survey of the problem and got on and solved the issue. At the end showed me pictures of the limescale which had blocked the pipe. Left with sink/drain running well. Removing a problematic drain trap
Had Happy Drains out to fix a sewer line trap that was blocking regularly and causing us much grief. It took a couple of goes to diagnose the issue, but then we got a very reasonable quote compared with other providers. The job involved lifting our garden paving and digging up the soil to remove the trap. On the day, the team were very courteous, explained everything (in detail . . .), and left the area clean and tidy - also going above and beyond by fixing some other minor problems. It's too soon to say if the drain issue is fixed forever, but I was delighted with the service as received.

Tony came to look clear the blockage and discovered it was in the stackpipe outside. He fitted an access cap to the pipe to gain access and cleared the blockage. A brilliant job. I cannot recommend Tony or Happy Drains high enough.

I was really impressed with Happy Drains. I called them at lunchtime and they were here in the afternoon. They gave me a 3 hour time window, and the engineer called 20 minutes before arriving - brilliant timekeeping and communication. The engineer, Tom, explained the problem to me very clearly and had fixed it within an hour. Their follow up report came the following day and was very detailed, with several pictures. NOT ALL HERO'S WEAR A CAPE!! Brendan doesn't wear a cape but was our hero! Quoted £90 plus vat, and after he finished i'd Have paid 3x that. I felt he went above and beyond, didn't stop when I thought he had tried everything, suggesting that we may need to call Thames water. After a trip to a neighbours garden to lift and unblock their drain the problem was sorted! Cleaned up all the mess after, couldn't have been nicer, and refused to take a very well earned tip!
