After trying to clear outside gully by hand, I feared a major underground issue. After seeing good reviews, I called Happy Drains Norwich. A non urgent visit was agreed 8am-12. On the day, He called to advise on the way. Shortly after, he called again to advise that he had to attend an emergency and would it be OK in 1 hour. I agreed and he arrived in originally agreed time window. Relying on experience, he determined that the gully outlet was in a surprise position and he removed bits of concrete and old fat. Quick job but fee was ok for his experience and his very flexible wrists!

Persistent unpleasant smell from drains into kitchen sink. Eliminated problems with internal plumbing so called HD. First appt engineer rang to say earlier job had been more complex than reported and would be late for our job. Offer of new appt 2 days later accepted. Engineer (Quinn) rang with ETA, arrived in middle of time slot. He was polite, professional, he quickly located and removed the problem and flushed the whole drainage system.

The two guys that did this work went out of their way to resolve the issue. The drainage duct had an unknown history; I didn't know where it went. Checked drain, tried to unblock manually but no good so used high pressure hose, cleared blockage and left clean and tidy. This all took just over an hour. Very efficient, polite and cheerful, even though it was towards 7pm by the time they packed their gear away.

Rung around several local businesses in the drainage arena. As had a blocked toilet. Spoke to Gary, whom kindly spared 30mins to speak to me, and afterwards within 10mins, arranged for one of his local experts Jason (based in Norwich) whom made room for me in a very busy schedule, to come out next day at 8am next day, as it was a domestic urgency. Professional, had the right tools and problem solved within an hour including camera surgery which defined some other issues to which free quotes are being provided. Most important price was relative to the job and very fair. Highly recommended

Tenants from hell blocked the drains from sink. Happy drains went in and cleared almost as soon as I called them. I haven't seen the work but as I m getting no more issues I assume its absolutely fine.
