I rang just after lunch to report a blocked drain and received a call back to say that an operator would attend within an hour although I mentioned that it was not an emergency. He arrived promptly and very quickly removed a difficult and very heavy manhole and completed the work in a very efficient manner. The operator was a very pleasant individual who carried out what was a very unpleasant job in a very good natured manner. It is many years since I have received this level of service, which is what we all hope for but very rarely get.

I agreed and he arrived in originally agreed time window. Relying on experience, he determined that the gully outlet was in a surprise position and he removed bits of concrete and old fat. First appt engineer rang to say earlier job had been more complex than reported and would be late for our job. Offer of new appt 2 days later accepted. Engineer (Quinn) rang with ETA, arrived in middle of time slot. He was polite, professional, he quickly located and removed the problem and flushed the whole drainage system."
