After trying to clear outside gully by hand, I feared a major underground issue. After seeing good reviews, I called Happy Drains Norwich. A non urgent visit was agreed 8am-12. On the day, He called to advise on the way. Shortly after, he called again to advise that he had to attend an emergency and would it be OK in 1 hour. I agreed and he arrived in originally agreed time window. Relying on experience, he determined that the gully outlet was in a surprise position and he removed bits of concrete and old fat. Quick job but fee was ok for his experience and his very flexible wrists!

Called Happy Drains about 9am as my ensuite toilet was blocked which was the only working toilet at the time. They advised that someone could be with me between 10am and 12noon. Two guys arrived just after 12 and went to work straight away to clear the blockage, which they did quickly, cleanly and professionally. Based on this I would use Happy Drains again.

This was my 87 yr old mother's house. We lifted the manhole cover thinking maybe we could unblock it, but it was full. So any water drainage was just overflowing. Euch!! Outside runoff drain to mains was backed up and overflowing.
Called them on a Saturday when the drain was especially playing up and within 20 minutes they rang back with the job booked in for the Monday. Friendly, prompt service on the phone, same again when the fella turned up. Done in 10 minutes. Didn't have to pay him then and there, but instead was issued online invoice and link to super-simple payment procedure. Brilliant. Pressure clear a drainage duct
The two guys that did this work went out of their way to resolve the issue. The drainage duct had an unknown history; I didn't know where it went. With a camera inspection and a LOT of inspection work they resolved it and cleared the obstruction. I was dreading the bill thinking there's going to be a twist but no. Price quoted was price paid. Very impressed, and would use again. Even contacted the company after work to pass on my feedback - hence this review.

Foul smell in bathroom
I had a disgusting smell of sewage coming through my pipes in the bathroom, after trying to solve the problem myself unsuccessfully i called Happy Drains and Alex arrived as planned, as soon as he flushed the loo he knew instantly what the problem was - a blockage in the pipes. To say he solved my problem is an understatement, he went to both of my neighbours to check their drains until he found the blockage and then went ahead and flushed the pipes through. Checked drain, tried to unblock manually but no good so used high pressure hose, cleared blockage and left clean and tidy. This all took just over an hour. Very efficient, polite and cheerful, even though it was towards 7pm by the time they packed their gear away.

However in all fairness they are a business not a charity and it's not their fault at least they turned up and attempted to unblock it on a Saturday as well (I called them same day) very responsive! It's now an Anglian Water problem.
