Rang up pm was told what it would cost so no surprises, arranged visit for next day am, operative rang to tell me his arrival time. He arrived on time did a quick survey of the problem and got on and solved the issue. At the end showed me pictures of the limescale which had blocked the pipe. Left with sink/drain running well. Great communication and fixed price drain clearance
From the first phone call enquiring about drain clearance with Emily to the actual work being carried out was less than 3 hours. I knew immediately upfront what the cost would be and how much extra if a Saturday call out was needed. I was kept informed by phone and email and received a call from the engineers 30 mins prior to arrival. They very quickly identified and cleared the problem clearing up any slight mess they made. Hope not to need this service again but if I do would Happily use Happy drains again.

Unblocking of drain/sewage pipe
The drain engineer arrived punctually. He made the area safe for passers by, as the drain hole cover was in the pavement outside in the street. He cleared the immediate blockage with a rod but then used the power water jet to flush out the whole pipe and clear away the accumulated grease and fat causing the blockage. At one point he practically disappeared inside the drain to remove a ball of fat with his hand! He was extremely thorough and efficient and left the drain sparkling clean! He was polite and friendly throughout. An overall top notch service!

Guy arrived bang on the time that we were given following an urgent call out. Drains were backing up to the house, trace of the drain run resulted in decking having to be taken up and access to a neighbours garden - the chap helped with the finding of the drain and was really helpful. Our toilet was blocked and backing up, after doing a bit of research I found Happy Drains and gave them a call and they were able to book in a plumber to come and unblock the toilet the same day. The call out charge seems a bit steep for the time it took, but it does seem to be a standard rate that people charge. Very happy to recommend.
