From the first phone call enquiring about drain clearance with Emily to the actual work being carried out was less than 3 hours. This was my 87 yr old mother's house. We lifted the manhole cover thinking maybe we could unblock it, but it was full. So any water drainage was just overflowing. Euch!! I rang just after lunch to report a blocked drain and received a call back to say that an operator would attend within an hour although I mentioned that it was not an emergency. He arrived promptly and very quickly removed a difficult and very heavy manhole and completed the work in a very efficient manner. The operator was a very pleasant individual who carried out what was a very unpleasant job in a very good natured manner.
