Drain issues

"We booked in a clean because our drain in the back garden smelled like rotting eggs. The technician took off the manhole cover and could see it was completely blocked. He had all the tools on hand to unblock the drain and it looks sparkling now. He was very knowledgable and we learned a lot about Victorian drains! Would definitely use again!"

"Persistent unpleasant smell from drains into kitchen sink. Eliminated problems with internal plumbing so called HD. First appt engineer rang to say earlier job had been more complex than reported and would be late for our job. Offer of new appt 2 days later accepted. Engineer (Quinn) rang with ETA, arrived in middle of time slot. He was polite, professional, he quickly located and removed the problem and flushed the whole drainage system."

Kitchen external drain blocked, and now it's now.

"I emailed Happy Drains in the morning and was emailed back with a very competitive fixed price quote. On accepting the quote I was called and told they could be with me that afternoon. I then had a call when they were 30 minutes away. Extremely efficient service that went beyond what was expected. Everything was left clean and was finished within an hour . A happy company with great people. Deal with confidence."

INitially cleared blockage but found root mass in the sewer so cleared that as well

"Not used this company before but when I was unable to clear a blockage in my sewer line I gave them a call. They were responsive and the engineer just got to work, identified where the sewer ran then blasted it clear. The sewer was running again within 15 mins. The knowledgeable engineer said he believed there were roots in the sewer as he could "feel" them. A camera run showed the root mass and where located. He blasted the roots from the inside then found that the majority were ingressing through the side of the sump on one of the manholes so cleared those too. Highly recommend this company"

Clearing a blocked manhole

"Tommy was excellent. Rang and got a same day appointment. Phoned ahead to confirm arrival time. Unlocked the drain quickly with a rod but followed up by jetting the drain to make sure it was entirely clear. Provided a number of good tips on how to avoid future blockage. Tommy was polite friendly and very efficient. "
