Kitchen Sink Drain Blockage
Telephoned Happy Drains early morning. Was told a technician would come to me late afternoon. He arrived at 4pm after telephoning to advise his arrival time. He asked where the blockage was and then got on with clearing it. No time wasted. Once the U bend had been taken apart the blockage was sucked out. Then the U bend was reassembled to show me the blockage had been cleared. All done very efficiently and effectively with very little mess being caused. I was very pleased and impressed.

Unfortunately the pipe was blocked with concrete which appears to have happened when the garden fence was erected. However, the tradesman wrote the reason it was blocked on the invoice which helped when I contacted the tradesmen who erected the fence.

He informed me that they would happy to come out, and quoted a reasonable rate, but informed me that Southern Water may be responsible for the task, and gave me all the contact details. Wow. "After trying to clear outside gully by hand, I feared a major underground issue. After seeing good reviews, I called Happy Drains Norwich. A non urgent visit was agreed 8am-12. On the day, He called to advise on the way. Shortly after, he called again to advise that he had to attend an emergency and would it be OK in 1 hour. I agreed and he arrived in originally agreed time window. Relying on experience, he determined that the gully outlet was in a surprise position and he removed bits of concrete and old fat. Quick job but fee was ok for his experience and his very flexible wrists!"
