If you’ve recently become a new homeowner or are in the process of moving to a new house, we all know it can be a daunting and somewhat stressful period. Imagine the day you first view that property you have fallen in love with. You check the layout of the property, and then envision yourself, your family and your friends living and enjoying life there, oh, and working out where you’ll put that 100-inch TV you previously bought that didn’t fit in your last property!
You’ve signed the papers, picked up the keys from the estate agents and arrived at your new property. You’re moving your stuff in, waving to next door and then you spot it, a buildup of water around the foot of your external drainage system. Crikey!
Like we touched upon at the start, not only do you have a mountain of jobs and checks to do pre-house move, once you move-in it only continues, and the importance of your residential drainage system is key. If that goes wrong, you’re in real trouble and it will need looking at immediately.
Once spotted, we recommend that you get in touch with us and we’ll send one of our professional engineers out to attend your property to carry out a full extensive check of the potential drainage issues that you have reported. If the blockage in your drainage system isn’t visible, we will have to carry out an extensive CCTV survey.
A CCTV drain survey is done using our high-tech CCTV cameras which we insert into your drains to start the inspection. The cameras then give us a HD feed of the condition of your interior drainage system. Especially in the areas that are not visible to the naked eye.
Once we have inspected your drains, we will compile a detailed survey report. Our professional drain survey will come complete with a written technical report using industry-standard software.
It’s our mission to take action and remove blockages freeing up your all-important time to focus on settling into your new home.
